Earnest Equivocation
Shouldn’t we arrest the whole of the Johnson Govt over it’s ‘actively ignoring Russian attempts to influence UK politics’? I mean these were the words of the Govt’s own prestigious Select Defence Committee weren’t they? Or should we check with the son of the KGB agent, the Lord of Siberia?

A short sentence like that encourages this sort of crime. Betraying the UK is onething. But to the Russians of all people. That’s just tragic.
David Chapman
Another inadequate sentence. It should have been 20 years minimum.

Sky turn off the comments for Tyre Nichols vids but keep them on for this. Sky are POS. Giant POS.

Punishing only one person in such a serious crime is not enough and a mockery of justice. This is another failure of the Home Office who left the UK unguarded, and its people vulnerable, and the Home Minister does not mind to share critical information via personal email. All the Home Minister’s current display of actions (English channel, Rwanda) is nothing but inaction.

i dont understand how intelligence agencies are ok with Evgeny Lebedev sitting in the house of lords. russian intelligence agencies could easily make him gather information whether he wants to or not.
